Director Phill Gill has resigned from his position on the board of Championship club Plymouth Argyle.
Gill had been a member of the Argyle board since August 2001, when a group that included chairman Paul Stapleton took over the running of the club.
In a statement on the club's website Stapleton praised Gill for his role in Argyle's rise to the Championship.
Stapleton said: "I would like to thank Phill for his contribution to the board and for his dedication to the team."
