A board meeting at Plymouth Argyle has ended without any decision on the proposed takeover of the club by a Japanese company.
The board met at Home Park on Monday to discuss the bid by the Tokyo-based Shonan Management Limited.
Plymouth's chairman Paul Stapleton has previously said that he hopes a deal will be sorted out before the start of the new season.
Plymouth ended last season one place and five points above relegation.
