Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock was left rueing a string of missed opportunities after his side drew 0-0 away at QPR on Saturday.
The result means Plymouth are still not assured of a place in the Championship next season with one game left to play.
"We're all gutted because we created seven or eight decent chances today and not taken any of them," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"Our goalies not had a save really and we played very competently."
Plymouth now face Barnsley at home in the final game of the season where a win or draw would guarantee them Championship survival.
But Sturrock knows the Pilgrims home form has been lacklustre this season.

"Away from home this season we've been excellent but we've got to go and do the business at Home Park now.
"It's such a disappointment to me how we've played at home, it's really put us in this area of the league," he added.
"Had we had mediocre home form this year we would have been sitting pretty."
