Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock has described Saturday's 3-0 defeat by Doncaster as one the worst performances his team have produced this year.
"We've done nothing different to any other week, training just the same. But we had one of our poorest games of the season," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"It might be the first time I've ever pointed the finger at my players.
"There's no excuses. It was one of the biggest games of the season and they put up a lacklustre performance."
The defeat leaves Argyle facing a nervous end to the season, four point clear of the relegation zone with two games left.

Three points at home to Doncaster would have ended any relegation worries.
The Pilgrims can remove any lingering fears in their next game, away at QPR on Saturday.
Sturrock added: "Hopefully the spur of the disappointment of losing to Doncaster will be a benefit to us and we'll go and get the result we need."
