Gallagher has impressed since joining Plymouth in August
Plymouth Argyle's top-scorer Paul Gallagher says he is uncertain as to whether he will still be at the club at the end of the transfer window.
The seven-goal striker is on loan at Home Park from Blackburn Rovers until the end of the season.
But he told BBC Radio Devon that Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has said he is surplus to requirements at Ewood Park.
"He said I can stay on loan until the end of the season but if a bid comes in in January he'd consider it," he said.
"There's been no bids yet but there's rumours around, but I don't want to say as they're only rumours.
"In my mind I'll be here until the end of the season but football's a funny game. It could come to the last day of the January window and someone could take a chance on me and put that bid in."
But Gallagher says he has resigned himself to the fact that his time at Blackburn is over.
"I did think if I came here [to Argyle] and did well I might still have a future, but the new manager's come in and wants to do new things," he added.
"I'm happy that he's been honest with me and said 'listen, if something comes we'll let you go and get on with your career', which is a good thing for me and hopefully a good thing for Blackburn to get some money.
"It won't be what they'll get for Roque Santa Cruz, but it'll be a little something."
