Seip has made nearly 100 appearances for Plymouth since joining from Heerenveen
Plymouth Argyle's Dutch defender Marcel Seip has said he is delighted to have signed a new contract at Home Park.
The 26-year-old, who joined from Heerenveen in 2006, will now stay with the Pilgrims until the summer of 2011.
He told BBC Radio Devon: "We're doing well at the moment and I'm happy to sign here and have a new deal.
"I'm quite happy with the way I perform. I try and be as consistent as I can and I think I've not done bad this season so far."
Seip has been ever-present for Argyle in the Championship this term after being frozen out of the side towards the end of last season after refusing to be a substitute.
And he now says his ambition is to see his team climb up the table and push for promotion.
"I'd like to see Argyle go to the Premier League. Every player would like to go there, if it's with Argyle then happy days," he said.
