Griffit had loan spells at Leeds and Rotherham while in England

Plymouth Argyle are hoping to add former Southampton winger Leandre Griffit to their squad.

Manager Paul Sturrock has taken the 24-year-old Frenchman to the Pilgrims' week-long training camp in Austria.

The Elfsborg player is expected to appear on Tuesday's team-sheet for the pre-season friendly against German club Greuther Furth.

He is one of two trialists Sturrock has taken to Austria - the second has not yet been named by the Pilgrims boss.
