Plymouth Argyle have confirmed that striker Cherno Samba left the club by mutual consent on deadline day. The 23-year-old Gambia-born striker was told last month by manager Paul Sturrock that he would be leaving.
At the time, Sturrock told the club website: "Samba appreciates the situation. At this juncture, we have decided to part company."
Samba was transfer listed at the start of the season and had an unsuccessful loan spell at Wycombe last year.
