Lee has made 10 starts for Posh so far this season
Peterborough United utility man Charlie Lee has said he is ready to move into the centre of defence if needed.
Lee looks set to partner either Exodus Geohaghon or Gabby Zakuani at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, with both Craig Morgan and Ryan Bennett suspended.
Lee told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "You don't really want anyone missing so two suspensions and a couple of injuries puts you under pressure.
"As a player, there's nothing to lose and have to hope you can do enough."
Peterborough boss Mark Cooper has told Lee that he wants to use him primarily as a midfielder and started him as part of a central three against Tottenham in the FA Cup.

However he also covered in defence in place of Morgan after he was sent off against Derby on Saturday.
Lee says he is hoping Sheffield Wednesday may underestimate Posh given their recent poor form.
"They will know we are missing players and maybe they won't give a hundred percent as a result," he said.
"It's always nice to be involved and whilst I'm looking to get in the team as a centre midfielder, I'm happy to come into the side at centre-back."
Posh could be as far as 10 points away from safety should they lose to Wednesday at the weekend.
Lee says team spirit remains good, despite their precarious predicament.
"When you are bottom of the league confidence does take a knock, but at Peterborough we've always had good team spirit," he said.
