Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has called on his side to believe in themselves following Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Derby.
Posh started slowly, but grew in stature as the game progressed.
Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "There's no point in me saying we're going to do well if the players don't believe it themselves.
"If they get that belief as they did in the second half of the game then we'll have no problems."
Miles Addison gave the Rams an early lead, with Posh struggling to get into the game.
George Boyd equalised from the penalty spot before Gary Teale found the net from a corner minutes from time.
"I thought we deserved something from the game, we got into the game gradually and in the second half we played like we know we can," Ferguson said.
Joe Lewis looked to be a fault for the Derby winner, and Ferguson admitted his side need to improve their approach to defending dead balls.
"We spoke about set pieces at length and we've got to get out of conceding goals like we did today," he added.
Paul Coutts is an injury doubt for Wycombe on Wednesday after picking up a knock.
