Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson will offer trialist Shaun Batt another chance to impress after he missed Saturday's defeat at Rushden.
Batt had been expected to start the friendly at Nene Park but was forced to miss out with a thigh injury.
The Posh boss was impressed with the performance of the Fisher Athletic midfielder against Stevenage last week.
Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "He picked up a thigh injury, so we're going to see how he is next week."
Posh slipped to their first pre-season defeat at Nene Park with goals from Jon Challinor and Dean McDonald sandwiching a Dean Keates equaliser.
"There's a lot of good stuff to take out of it and a lot to work with as well," he said.
"We didn't really have enough penetration first half or second, and that was probably the most disappointing thing."
Next up for Posh are West Ham, who visit London Road on Tuesday.
The Hammers are expected to put out a full-strength side, with the likes of Craig Bellamy, Dean Ashton and Scott Parker all possible starters.
"It will be a good test, they've got some very good players and a good team," Ferguson said.
The Posh boss also hinted that he will be looking to start the match with his first-choice line-up.
"Tuesday's going to be more looking towards the start of the season," he added.
