Fry has completed deals for two Premier League loanees

Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has revealed the club have agreed loan deals for two unnamed Premier League midfielders.

Manager Darren Ferguson must now decide which one of the players he wants to bring to London Road.

"I've done two deals for two quality midfield players," Fry told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"The final decision rests with the manager, he can have either one; what he can't do is have both."

The players are believed to be Premier League academy products looking for first team experience and would continue the Posh ethos of developing young, hungry talent.

"We've agreed terms with one Premiership club, we've agreed terms with another Premiership club, they're similar players," Fry said.

"It's just a matter of Darren making up his mind which one he wants."

However, Peterborough's summer spending is set to continue with Fry revealing the club are also working to bring in another player on a permanent basis.

"We've got a meeting on Friday with another club regarding another sort of player that I would say is a utility player more than anything else."

Meanwhile, Fry has again reiterated that striker Aaron Maclean is not for sale.

Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have show interest in the former Grays man, but Fry has said the club will accept nothing less than �5m for his services.

"Jez Moxey [Wolves chief executive] sent me an e-mail bidding a million pounds and I sent it backing saying I had to check the date, I thought it was April Fool's Day, and turned it down flat," Fry said.
