Peterborough will sign Dagenham & Redbridge pair Shane Blackett and Craig Mackail-Smith when the transfer window reopens in January, reports BBC Essex. The deal is thought to be worth more than 200,000 to the Daggers.
Striker Mackail-Smith, 22, has scored 10 goals this season but will be out of contract in the summer.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old defender Blackett has recently been linked with other Football League clubs including Colchester and Crystal Palace.
The pair, who both joined the Daggers from Arlesey in May 2004, were both in the England National Game XI squad for the Four Nations tournament during the summer.
