Wilder's Oxford won the Blue Square Premier play-off final in May
Oxford United boss Chris Wilder has said that up to five members of his squad may not return to the club.
Dannie Bulman has already signed a permanent deal at Crawley, while Jack Midson is at Southend and Mark Creighton is on loan with Wrexham.
Elsewhere, Sam Deering is with Newport and Rhys Day is at Mansfield.
"The time has come to move forward. We don't feel those players will return to the club this season," Wilder told BBC Radio Oxford.
"We have to look to see if players are good enough, some players have done a great job for us and some players will take us forward."
"The decisions we have made with the lads that are out on loan are decisions we are sticking with," he added.
We are looking at people like Steven Maclean to take us forward and I think he is one that's shown us what quality is needed

Wilder, who today celebrates his second year anniversary as Oxford boss, took the club into the Football League at the end of last season, after the U's beat York 3-1 in the play-off final at Wembley.
But Wilder says he must now focus his attention on the future of the club, starting with loan signing Steven Maclean.
"We are not looking back but that was always the remit when I took over, we had to get out of the Conference.
"But now we are looking at people like Steven Maclean to take us forward and I think he is one that's shown us what quality is needed to progress in the league."
