Oxford United's James Constable adjusting to League Two

Oxford United striker James Constable admits he is still adjusting to life in the Football League.

United were promoted to League Two after four years in non-league with a 3-1 win over York in the play-off final at Wembley at the end of last season.

"It does take a while to get used to the Football league and I'm still getting used to it," Constable, 26, told BBC Oxford

"But we're doing well this season and have held our own in the league."

Constable had previous spells in the Football League with Walsall and Shrewsbury Town but has never played a full season at that level.

He added: "I knew when I dropped down and joined Oxford that it wouldn't be long until we went back up again and doing what we are doing now."

Oxford are currently 16th in the League Two table and host Constable's former club Shrewsbury on Saturday, having won their last two league matches.
