Oxford United captain James Constable has spoken of his pride at scoring his first Football League hat-trick.
His first league goals of the season helped United to a 4-0 victory over Morecambe - their first win back in the Football League.
Constable told BBC Oxford: "It's nice it's in the league and I am up and running now. It will make a big difference to me.
"Personally I have been putting in the work but it hadn't been coming off."
The U's had scored just once in their four previous league games and the 25-year old says the victory is a relief to the team.
Constable said: "We have been bitterly disappointed in the way we have played and maybe haven't got what we deserved.
"We had to put that right and change that record and that should help us going forward."
