League Two new boys Oxford United have signed former Bury midfielder Richie Baker on a six-month contract.
The 22-year-old began his career at Preston before joining Bury on a free transfer in 2006.
Baker, who thanked the Shakers fans on the club website for their support following his release in May, made 129 appearances scoring nine goals.
His last goal for Bury was a late winner in their 2-1 win over Rotherham in October 2009.
