Highly-rated teenage Bury midfielder Richie Baker has signed a new contract at Gigg Lane. Baker, who joined the Shakers from Preston last summer, has agreed a deal lasting until June 2009.
The 19-year-old has started 27 games for Chris Casper's side this season and scored five goals.
Director of footballing affairs Ian Harrop said: "It is important players like Richie remain with us while they develop their career."
