Cole has signed for Oxford after more than three years at Stevenage

Oxford United have made their eighth summer signing by recruiting Mitchell Cole from Stevenage.

Cole, 24, played 90 games for the Blue Square Premier champions, but has been allowed to switch from the Champions to the side promoted via the play-offs.

Despite being affected by injury, the winger featured in 42 games last season, scoring four goals.

Cole is a product of the West Ham youth system and was later with Southend. He also had a loan spell at Northampton.
