Oxford boss Chris Wilder excited by Luton Town clash

Oxford manager Chris Wilder says he is looking forward to the big match atmosphere as United visit Blue Square Premier rivals Luton Town on Tuesday.

The Kenilworth Road crowd is expected to be near its 10,226-capacity for the game between the promotion chasers.

"They are one of the sides who can beat anyone on their day," said Wilder.

"We will go and enjoy the occasion. It is going to be a red hot atmosphere, plenty of noise in there, and it's a game we are all looking forward to."

Oxford United have sold out their allocation of 1500 tickets for the match and, despite the excitement from supporters, Wilder says the result will not make or break their season.

He told BBC Oxford: "If we win we haven't won the league and if we lose we are not out of it.

"We are going for a win as always, but so are the opposition and it will be an evenly matched contest."
