Oxford United boss Chris Wilder has said he is happy but 'surprised' that there were no bids for his key players during the January transfer window.
The only player to leave the Kassam Stadium was defender Luke Foster, who joined Mansfield on an 18-month deal.
"I am quietly happy as I don't want to lose anyone at this critical stage," Wilder told BBC Oxford.
Chris Hargreaves, Jake Wright, Anthony Tonkin, Lee Fowler and Francis Green all joined during the transfer window.
He added: "I'm surprised [at the lack of interest] because there have been some outstanding performances in the first half of the season.
"We've moved things on and we have a competitive squad and one with a really good attitude."
Oxford have taken 10 points from their last five games and are currently a point behind leaders Stevenage, with two games in hand.
