Oxford United beat Watford 1-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Championship club's training ground.
Jamie Cook scored the only goal of the match, which was used to give game-time to players who have missed some first team action in recent weeks.
Goalkeeper Billy Turley and fit-again defenders Kevin Sandwith and Rhys Day all played 90 minutes and are available for Saturday's match with Grays.
Both Adam Chapman and Jack Midson got 70 minutes under their belts.
