Forward Reuben Reid will stay at Oldham Athletic after agreeing to take a pay cut from his previous wages.
The 22-year-old was told the club would not be offering him a new deal because of financial constraints but Reid opted to take reduced terms to stay.
Manager Paul Dickov told the club website: "It shows Reuben's commitment that he wants to be here next season.
"It is great credit that he wants to stay and shows that he buys into what we are trying to achieve here."
