Oldham winger Andy Liddell has left the League One club after having his contract terminated.
The 35-year old had signed a new one-year deal in the summer of 2008 but will now be paid a settlement for the remainder of his contract.
Chief executive Alan Hardy told the club's website: "We sat down with Andy and the result was that the club would be terminating his contract."
Liddell had clocked up 144 appearances in his four seasons with the Latics.
