Oldham Athletic have signed Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines on a month-long loan.
The 20-year-old will join up with the Latics squad for their home match with Northampton on Saturday.
Centre-back Hines overcame a serious knee injury to make his Middlesbrough debut against Hull in January 2007, scoring a goal in his side's 4-3 win.
He joined Derby County on a month-long loan spell earlier this season, but made only one reserve team appearance.
Middlesbrough have fielded Hines only six times, with his last appearance coming in the Teessiders' FA Cup defeat by Hull in December 2008.
But this week the club tied him to a new two-and-a-half-year contract which keeps him at the club until the end of 2011.
