Edwards has missed the last two pre-season campaigns
Notts County defender Mike Edwards believes the club's pre-season tour of Austria will help the players bond.
The Magpies fly out to Austria at the weekend and will play two matches, while basing themselves at the National Sports Centre of Obertraun.
Edwards told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's going to be good for us as we've had a lot of new faces come in.
"It will be an intense training camp but we'll also have great team bonding out there."
This will be Edwards' first pre-season campaign for three years.
We're going to get to know each other a lot better"

The 29-year-old missed last season's trip to the same venue after his wife gave birth to a baby boy. In 2007, Edwards broke his leg and dislocated his ankle in a pre-season match with St Blazey.
Edwards added: "I talked to the lads who went last year and they said it is an isolated place so we're going to get to know each other a lot better."
Notts will face Romanain Premier League side FC Universtiatiea on Monday, 13 July and follow that with a match against Salzburg two days later.
