Former Notts County chairman Steve Thompson has stepped down from the Supporters Trust board.
Thompson, who was one of the founding members, becomes the third high-profile resignation in recent days and says he feels let down by the Trust.
"The Trust is no longer acting in the best interest of its members and I wish to distance myself from its failure to perform its duties," said Thompson.
"If the Trust is not prepared to stand up for its members, what is the point?"
He added: "The Trust was formed to protect its members from what happened to this club once before.
He [Steve] has developed a different view from the majority of the board as to what our majority ownership of the club actually means in practice

"We were close to the club losing its place in the Football League. But right now I feel betrayed.
"In my opinion it has lost its way and forgotten why it was formed and there seems no desire to change."
In a statement, Supporters Trust chairman Glenn Rolley said: "I am disappointed that Steve has chosen to conduct his resignation through the press.
"He has developed a different view from the majority of the board as to what our majority ownership of the club actually means in practice and how a supporters trust operates in that context."
Meanwhile, another board member, Cheryl Thompson, who is no relation to Steve, has also resigned.
She is the fourth member of the 15-strong board to step down in the last two weeks.
