McParland took charge at Meadow Lane in October 2007

Notts County manager Ian McParland has said some of his players are scared to play at Meadow Lane.

The Magpies have won two home league games this season and lost five.

McParland told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Some of them are frightened to play here but not all of them and it's up to them to overcome that.

"We will overcome it because with no disrespect, I'd rather be running out here than somewhere like Accrington Stanley every week."

Notts are currently 17th in the League Two table with 24 points.
