Notts County have signed free agent Jamie Clapham on a short-term deal.
The 32-year-old former Ipswich Town and Birmingham City left-back, who began his career at Spurs, has spent the last two weeks training with the Magpies.
Manager Ian McParland told the club website: "Jamie is an experienced campaigner, who will bring a wealth of experience to our squad.
"He is a solid defender who is comfortable on the ball and I'm sure he will be an astute signing for us."
Clapham, who has made more than 400 appearances in his career, will be in contention to make his debut at Exeter City on Saturday.
He joined Birmingham for 1.3m in 2003 and also turned out for Wolves, Leeds United and Leicester City before being released by the Foxes in the summer.
