Nottingham Forest suffered a 2-0 defeat in their friendly against a Republic of Ireland XI in Dublin.
Goals from debutant Caleb Folan and Andy Keogh condemned the Reds to the loss at Dalymount Park, home of League of Ireland side Bohemians.
"I'm disappointed that we haven't scored," said Forest assistant manager David Kerslake, who was in charge in the absence of Colin Calderwood.
"But when we did get in decent areas our final ball wasn't at its best."
