A horror tackle from Macclesfield's Gareth Evans overshadowed an entertaining draw as Notts County took their unbeaten run to 10 matches.

Evans' challenge on County defender Adam Tann resulted in a straight red card and Tann was stretchered off with a suspected broken leg.

Delroy Facey had given the hosts the lead and Simon Yeo equalised after Russell Hoult spilled Evans' shot.

Jamie Clapham hit the bar late on as County almost snatched victory.
