Notts County board member Howard Wilkinson has taken a coaching role at Meadow Lane where he has been appointed technical director. Wilkinson already sits on the Magpies' board as a non-executive director but will also help new boss Steve Thompson.
Notts chairman Jeff Moore told the club website: "I think it's on the training field where you want to see Howard.
"And it's in the backrooms and the bootroom where Howard will be - he'll certainly have his boots on.
