Billy Davies says the rumours are 'utter nonsense'

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has rubbished claims that midfielder Lewis McGugan and striker Robert Earnshaw could leave the club.

Some reports have suggested the pair had attracted interest from Premier League outfits.

Davies told BBC Radio Nottingham: "There's no chance of us at this moment in time even considering any player leaving - the squad's not big enough.

"The players have been working very hard and are still being assessed."

Davies said: "Any rumour or speculation about any player leaving this club is utter nonsense as far as I'm concerned."
