Nottingham Forest defender Julian Bennett could be out for six weeks after suffering a fractured collarbone in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Ipswich.
Bennett was injured in an accidental collision with on-loan goalkeeper Lee Camp, who was making his debut.
Manager Colin Calderwood told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's a major one and that's the disappointing thing."
French midfielder Guy Moussi could be out for up to three months after undergoing ankle ligament surgery.
