Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis McGugan could return to the first team from injury in three weeks.
The 19-year-old has been nursing a thigh problem since the Swansea game on 16 August.
He told the club website: "I'm desperate to get back playing again but the last thing I want is to make the injury worse.
"I was hoping to be back after the international break but I'm probably looking at the Charlton match."
Forest play Charlton at home on 20 September.
