Midfielder Andrew Crofts says Norwich City can improve even further when a series of injured players return.
City, who are without a string of first-team players, are fifth in the Championship despite winning just once in their last six games.
Crofts told BBC Radio Norfolk: "We've got some top players to come back, I think they'll make a big difference.
"With what we've got we've been doing really well, but we can't rely on that, we've got to keep building."
Welshman Crofts missed the Canaries midweek draw at Millwall because of a suspension.
And with midfielder Andrew Surman and defender Michael Nelson both out with a long-term injuries and left-backs Adam Drury and Stephen Smith also sidelined boss Paul Lambert has had to reshuffle his side.
"It's part and parcel of football, that's why you've got a squad," Crofts added.
"Sometimes you've got to play in a position that's not your main position.
"We've got a great set of lads and they're prepared to do that if it benefits the team."
