Canaries buoyed by 2m injection

Norwich City's financial future has been made more secure after Delia Smith and Michael Wynn-Jones pledged to invest a further 2m.

Directors Andrew and Sharon Turner resigned from the board on Tuesday, leaving a hole in this season's budget.

But the club's joint-majority shareholders have agreed to provide the funds from their own personal fortune.

Chairman Roger Munby confirmed to BBC Radio Norfolk on Tuesday that the club are seeking new investment.
