Grounds will be with City until November

Norwich City have signed Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Grounds on a three-month emergency loan deal.

The 20-year-old is set to be with the Canaries until the end of November although Boro have the right to recall the player after the first 28 days.

The versatile defender made his first-team debut for Middlesbrough against Liverpool last January.

He has made eight appearances in total and played in the 5-1 win over Yeovil in the Carling Cup last week.
