Norwich City directors Andrew and Sharon Turner have stepped down from their roles on the Carrow Road board.
The multimillionaire owners of Norwich-based finance firm Central Trust plc replaced Barry Skipper in May 2007 when they bought his 5,000 shares.
They promptly gave the club a 2m interest-free loan and it is unclear whether the loan must be repaid under the terms of their departure.
The club released a brief statement on their website thanking the pair.

Chairman Roger Munby has told BBC Radio Norfolk that the pair's departure came very suddenly, but that there was absolutely no acrimony.
However, he acknowledged that, minus their input, the club would be presented with a more difficult financial picture.
