Roeder needs a result against Colchester this weekend
Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder has assured fans that the club will not be relegated this season.
Roeder spoke to supporters at a fans' forum organised by the Norwich City Independent Supporters Association.
Norwich's recent poor run has seen them slip to 18th in the Championship, just three points above the relegation zone.
John Tilson, from the supporters association, told BBC Radio Norfolk: "Not for one minute does he [Roeder] think we are going to go down."
He added: "The main thing to come out of the meeting is that this is just a blip and we will not be relegated".
Colchester is certainly the biggest game since that awful day at Fulham when we were relegated from the Premiership

Roeder took the Canaries from the bottom of the league and was looking for a play-off position before this latest bad run of one win in eight games.
"There is still a love affair with Glenn, even though we've had some bad results over the last six or seven games," said Tilson.
Norwich next face local rivals Colchester, who currently sit bottom of the league but have ground out some good results of late.
Tilson added: "Colchester this Saturday is certainly the biggest game Norwich have been involved in since that awful day at Fulham when we were relegated from the Premiership."
