Five players who were told they had no future with Northwich Victoria have been removed from the transfer list.

Matt Bailey, Ryan Brown, Paul Barratt, Michael Jones and Richie Sutton have all been given another chance to impress stand-in manager Mike Marsh.

Marsh was placed in charge at the Victoria Stadium after Dino Maamria was put on gardening leave.

Meanwhile defender Michael Carr has ended his loan spell with the Vics and returned to Morecambe.
