Carr made 93 appearances for The Vics in his first spell at the club

Morecambe midfielder Michael Carr has rejoined former club Northwich Victoria on a month's loan.

The 24-year-old played for the Vics from 2005 to 2008, scoring nine goals in 93 appearances, but moved to the Shrimps on a free transfer in May.

The Blue Square Premier side have also signed ex-Blackpool striker Phil Marsh and Portuguese forward Martins Almeida.

Meanwhile, winger Michael Barnes has left the club after failing to agree terms on a new contract.
