Northampton Town re-sign Watford midfielder Josh Walker
Walker had a loan spell at Stevenage this season
Northampton Town have re-signed Watford midfielder Josh Walker on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old made four appearances on loan at Sixfields last season from Middlesbrough, but his spell was cut short by injury.
"We know there was a lot of interest in taking Josh, including from higher division clubs," manager Ian Sampson told the Cobblers website.
"He will be a big asset to us between now and the end of the season."
He added: "We didn't get to see the best of Josh before.
"He enjoyed his brief spell here with us last season, and he has worked with Malcolm Crosby in the past, so he knows the way we do things."
Walker, who started his career at Middlesbrough, joined Watford in August, and has made five substitute appearances. He has also been on loan at Bournemouth, Aberdeen, Rotherham and Stevenage in his career.
