Northampton Town skipper Craig Hinton believes their defensive work in training is beginning to pay off.
The Cobblers have conceded just once in their last three matches - a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Port Vale.
Hinton told BBC Radio Northampton: "The two clean sheets we've had is definitely a massive improvement.
"We've worked very hard in training on staying solid. And we're always going to create chances at the other end, with the players we've got."
Northampton Town travel to second-placed AFC Bournemouth in League Two on Saturday.
The Cobblers have beaten the Cherries twice this season, in the league and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
