Jutkiewicz is set to pit his wits against SPL defences
New Motherwell forward Lukas Jutkiewicz is determined to make the most of his six-month loan spell from Everton.
English-born Jutkiewicz, 20, will go straight into the squad for Saturday's visit to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
"I've had limited game-time at Everton so I'm looking forward to getting on the pitch, playing in the big games and doing well up here," said the striker.
And he warned: "I'm a physical player. I don't like to give the defenders any breathing space."
The Poland Under-21 cap started his career with Swindon Town and made his debut aged 17.
He signed for Everton in 2007 but failed to maintain a place in David Moyes's side, joining Plymouth Argyle on loan until the end of the season.
Jutkiewicz spent the remainder of last season on loan at Huddersfield town.
But he will now link up with Everton team-mate John Ruddy at Fir Park, becoming Jim Gannon's sixth signing at Fir Park.
Jutkiewicz said: "The two clubs had to iron out a few things. As soon as I was told, I wanted to come.
"I knew Jim from his days at Stockport. I played against him a couple of times. His teams have been hard to beat."
Everton manager David Moyes encouraged his young striker to continue building his experience rather than remain on the fringes at Goodison.
"He said it's a really good opportunity for me. He said they play decent football up here, a lot more technical than the Championship or League One in England," said Jutkiewicz.
