Carlton's move to Carlisle initially caused a rift between the clubs
Carlisle United striker Danny Carlton has rejoined Morecambe on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old, who scored the winner in Morecambe's 2007 Conference play-off final win, made over 200 appearances during his first spell with the club.
"I am delighted to have Danny back at Christie Park," said Shrimps manager Sammy McIlroy.
"He knows the lads and will fit into our style of play and will give the supporters a lift too."
Carlton left Morecambe for Carlisle a month after that play-off success, with the move initially causing a rift between the clubs over the compensation fee.
