Powell has scored 10 times in 30 games for MK Dons
MK Dons winger Daniel Powell has signed a new two-year deal, keeping him at Stadium MK until the summer of 2013.
The 21-year-old has scored nine goals in 29 games for the Dons this season after spending the early part of the campaign on loan at Darlington.
Powell penned his first professional deal in 2008 while a Dons apprentice.
"I am thrilled Daniel Powell has committed his long-term future to the club," MK boss Karl Robinson told the club website.
"It shows we are doing things in the right way because a number of clubs have been chasing him and he has decided staying at MK Dons will only strengthen his career."
This year he has gone from being a substitute at Darlington and Forest Green to a regular first team player

Powell made a goal-scoring debut for the Dons in a 3-1 win over Hartlepool in November 2008.
And on top of his five-game stint with Darlington this season he also gained experience in loan spells at Crawley and Forest Green last term.
"In this year he has gone from being a substitute at Darlington and Forest Green to a regular first team player who can have a huge affect for us against clubs at the highest levels," Robinson added.
"Daniel is another player who fits the mould of the club with his ambition and desire to be successful."
