Jackett was brought in as reserve coach at Man City by Stuart Pearce |
Manchester City reserve team coach Kenny Jackett has ruled himself out of the running to take over at Millwall. Willie Donachie's dismissal last week left Richard Shaw and Colin West in temporary charge of the Lions.
Executive deputy chairman Heather Rabbatts told the club website: "We have no concerns if Richard and Colin remain in charge for a week or two.
"We interviewed Kenny Jackett but he told us that he does not wish to be considered for the position."
Jackett took up his role at City in March after leaving Swansea by mutual consent in February, following nearly three years as manager there.
Yeovil had earlier revealed that they had refused Millwall permission to speak to their manager Russell Slade.
