Zak Whitbread joins Millwall from Liverpool |
Millwall have completed their third signing in seven days with the capture of Liverpool defender Zak Whitbread. Whitbread, 22, played 25 times for the Lions on loan last term and has penned a two-year deal that will keep him at the London-based club until 2008.
The player joins the New Den outfit on a free transfer, though this could rise to 200,000 depending on appearances.
Whitbread is Nigel Spackman's third signing of the summer after the arrival of Darren Byfield and Lenny Pidgeley.
