Millwall have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley on a three-year deal. The 22-year-old former England Under-21 man spent three days at The New Den as emergency keeping cover last season, facing Birmingham in the Carling Cup.
He made only one first-team start for Chelsea, in the defeat at Newcastle in the Premiership in May, and jumped at the chance to return to the Lions.
"I was here for a brief period and really enjoyed my time. There's a good bunch of lads here," Pidgeley said.
"Although I had a year left on my Chelsea contract I wanted to come back. I want to help the club get back to the Championship as soon as possible."
